- Freesound - A huge and ever-growing online database of audio clips. Download/contribute whatever you please.
- Archive.org- Great if you want to sample some ancient public domain songs.
- Musicradar - A huge collection of royalty free samples from various issues of Computer Music magazine. They have everything from robotic synthpop sample to afrobeat.
- Breakbit Paradise - Lower quality, but still viable free samples from the early 2000s.
